My husband and I live in Rio Rancho and have a friend that works at Don Chalmers Ford. We were looking to purchase a heavy duty pickup truck, to have the capability to tow our travel trailer. When we initially went to Don Chalmers, we were not sure that anyone would help us, as the following had occurred prior to our coming in and meeti
ng Jarrod Watson, our salesman.
We had a vehicle we were going to be trading in, the only downfall was that the trade in had a bad car fax report, which we were not made aware of prior to our purchase from a different dealership. It was not until we were trying to trade it in that we found out that our trade had been involved in an accident, really bringing our trade in value down.
Many different dealerships we went to, including where we purchased our trade, did not want to work with us and would have put us very upside down in a new vehicle. Jarrod and John Storz were absolutely wonderful, trying and doing everything they could to get us out of this situation, without causing further damage to our pockets. They completely understood where we came from in wanting to trade our vehicle and made sure that we were going to get the best deal possible.
We were so pleased with all the time and energy they took to help us, and it worked out in our favor. We were able to purchase a NEW full size F250 with all the bells and whistles that came along with it, as well as taking our trade and not insulting us with the amount of trade in value that was given. They made sure that all possible rebates were given to us.
Jacque, our finance person, was awesome as well. She took time with us to go over everything on the financing and made sure we left with no questions at all. Pat Riley, in the service department, is our friend of many years, and he made sure that everything was taken care of to our liking.
Unfortunately, we did experience the autobody shop as well, as we had been backed into on a street and had to have body work done to the truck. This experience with the body shop was also a wonderful experience. They made sure that our truck came out of there looking just as good, if not better, than before we had been hit.
Don Chalmers Ford in Rio Rancho deserves high regards and my husband and I will definitely refer other people to Don Chalmers, whenever we possibly can. They hire the people that have the compassion for customers and do not act as if it is just a job for them to collect a paycheck. They really and truely do care about their customers.
